I have been very healthy lately and enjoying just running around the house. I like to play ball down the stairs. I need someone to throw all the balls back up, but then I gather all of them and walk back to the stairs and throw them all back down. I just laugh and think it is hilarious. Dad isn't so thrilled of having me play by the stairs even though there is a gate I throw the balls over. Oh well! I get my grandmas and grandpas to do it!
We recently had a very special visit with my primary nurse from when I was in the hospital, Ellan. We met her for lunch in Milwaukee. I didn't remember her, but mom and dad say she took very good care of me in the hospital! She knew me when I was very sick, so it was good for her to see me enjoying life as a 2 year old!
I continue to be very interested in eating and food. Whenever I see mom or dad eat or drink I want to see what they are eating or drinking and usually try a little bit. I don't like baby spoons, only the real metal utensils. I am starting to make a mess and play with food. Dad is a bit nervous with the mess, but mom and dad just smile from ear to ear when they see me tasting or playing with food. This food thing is pretty interesting! Right now I am loving vanilla ice cream.
As winter approaches, mom and dad (well, mostly mom) say we aren't going out as much in order to keep me healthy. Mom has taken an extended leave from school, so she will be home through the end of January. Dad says I have turned into a momma's boy (whatever that means), but mom says she loves every minute of it! :)
This dressin' up stuff isn't so bad. Aren't I cute?

He is the most very awesome little man having went through all he has and still so much fun. He loves every day and getting to do more by himself and being more independent. He goes to his room and plays all by his self and he tries so hard to communicate with every one. He is just a great little man.
